Historical outline.
The history of the Mitterteich porcelain factory begins in 1887. It was founded by Ludwig Lindner. In 1895, the factory was taken over by Mosaic Pottery Max Emanuel & Co. of London. The company was confiscated by the Bavarian authorities at the beginning of World War I. From 1917, it operated as Porzellanfabrik Mitterteich A.G.
