A Brief History of the Rosenthal Company: The history of the Rosenthal company dates back to 1987, when Philipp Rosenthal founded a small factory under his surname, Rosenthal. The highest-quality porcelain produced under the Rosenthal brand is still considered among the most exclusive in the world.
